One Love Initiative, DBA Circuit Riders Privacy & Refund Policy
We understand that your information is sensitive and valuable and, as such, we hope the following statements will help you understand our policies and how we use the information you provide to us.
What do you collect?
Login information. When you use Circuit Rider services, we automatically record information that your browser sends when you visit one of our websites. These server logs may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request, and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser.
How do you use my information?
In some cases, our site uses event registration and donation forms for visitors who choose to submit this information to allow people to register for events, pay event registration fees, and make donations. We collect your willingly submitted contact information (such as your email address), unique identifiers and financial information (such as a credit card type, number, and expiration date). Contact information from these response forms is used to process registration and/or donations, as well as to provide receipts and other information about Circuit Riders to our customers. The visitor’s contact information is also used to get in touch with the visitor when necessary in order to resolve customer service issues or questions. Financial information that is collected is used to bill the user for event registration or a donation as authorized by the user.
What are “cookies” and how do you use them?
As with most other Internet sites, our web servers utilize “cookies” to track a user’s activity within our site as well as record the IP address of each visitor to this site. A cookie is a small data file that is stored on your computer. A cookie contains a unique identifying feature that allows our computer to recognize you when you return to The Circuit Rider site. The recorded IP address tells us which domain you visited from (for instance, yahoo.com), but not your email address or other private and personal information. We use the information we record to help diagnose problems with our servers, to administer this website more effectively, and to gather broad demographic information about what countries and domains our visitors come from and their behavior on our site. In the alternative, if you wish to opt out of this type of data collection, you can disable cookies in your web browser. Please note that disabling cookies may diminish the experience of the websites you visit, including The Circuit Rider.
Do you share my information?
Circuit Riders does not share your personal information with other institutions outside of Circuit Riders. However, Circuit Riders may share your personal information if we have a good faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to (a) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request, (b) enforce applicable Terms Of Service, including investigation of potential violations thereof, (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, or (d) protect against imminent harm to the rights, property or safety of Circuit Riders, its users or the public as required or permitted by law.
How do you use my email?
Circuit Riders uses your email for sending you Circuit Rider updates and other information we think you would enjoy. If you would rather not receive emails with this content or of any kind, simply unsubscribe from our services.
Circuit Riders takes commercially reasonable steps to implement appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. These steps may include internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, as well as physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where we store personal data.
We review our data collection, storage and processing practices to ensure that we only collect, store and process the personal information needed to provide or improve our services. We take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we process is accurate, complete, and current, but we depend on our users to update or correct their personal information whenever necessary.
Linking to other Sites
We will cooperate with the appropriate regulatory authorities, including local data protection authorities, to resolve any complaints regarding the transfer of personal data that cannot be resolved between Circuit Riders and an individual.
On this website, Circuit Riders may collect fees associated with event registrations and may also collect donations towards Circuit Rider events and its initiatives. If a situation arises when you need a refund, all refund requests will be directed to our accounting department for processing. You may contact our accounting department by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org Refund decisions will be based on several factors relating to the transaction you are requesting a refund for. These could include the following:
1. Did Circuit Riders incur any expenses to secure your participation in the event that we are unable to reclaim?
2. Was the event noted as non-refundable?
Decisions to override this policy are reserved by the Circuit Rider administration team.
Circuit Riders reserves the right to change, amend, or restate this policy.
By using Circuit Riders’ website, you are giving us your express consent to use all the information that we collect about you in the manner described in this policy. This includes the release of such information to third parties as described above.
